Detail

Product Description

The Scrappy Puppy is a cheerful hand-crocheted dog doll, dressed in bold contrasting colorblocks from ear to paw. Born from leftover scraps of yarn too small to finish a doll on their own, he was pieced together into one beautifully colorful, one-of-a-kind stuffed friend.

Style Guide

Scrappy Puppy adds a playful, bold pop of color to a nursery shelf, playroom corner, or baby shower gift table. His mismatched ears and bright colorblocking make him a fun statement piece on his own, or a cheerful accent alongside other handmade decor.

Artisan's Perspective

Scrappy Puppy began as a collection of leftover yarn, small amounts of color left over from other projects, each too little on its own to finish a doll. Rather than let them go to waste, our artisans wove them together, row by vibrant row, into one bright, boldly colored puppy. His perky mismatched ears, round sturdy body, and little dangling tail are shaped stitch by stitch, turning scraps of thread into a companion bursting with personality.

Each Scrappy Puppy is hand-crocheted by artisans in Uganda, carrying forward a tradition of craft, patience, and resourcefulness passed down through generations. The result is more than a toy, it's a handmade keepsake that celebrates color, creativity, and the beauty of making something whole out of what's left behind.
